Hayden's Blessing Day

We were able to give our beautiful baby girl a name and a blessing on March 1, 2015. We were so lucky some family in town to celebrate, including my parents, Brad's parents, Karee and Ellie, and of course Darin, Linsy, Tate, Beau, and Vivie who drove up from Cincy. Mom and Aunt Charlotte made Hayden a BEAUTIFUL blessing dress. Karen also kept the blanket Brad used on his blessing day, so Hayden is laying on it in her pictures. It's so special! She is so lucky to have such talented and kind family members who love her so much!

Our eternal family.

What a beautiful baby! I can't get enough.

It was such a pretty day with the snow falling, so of course we had to get some dreamy snow pictures with Hayden in her blessing dress.

 Our cold Ohio home!

I love this one with her tongue sticking out. I think she was trying to eat the snow?? Haha.

Hayden with Grandma and Grandpa Jurgensmeier!

Again with Grandma and Grandpa Bell!

The SILs and Hayden with her girl cousins that could come, Ellie and Vivie! (And Baby Girl Green #2 coming soon!!) Side note--I had no idea that Karee and Ellie were flying out from Utah with Karen and Dee. They decided to surprise me! BEST SURPRISE EVER!!

Our family that traveled in, snow and all, for Hayden's special day!

Brad and I are so blessed to have Hayden Jayne in our lives. She is the sweetest little girl! She is starting to talk and laugh and giggle on a daily basis. She especially loves mornings, which is so unlike both of her parents! She is starting to reach for toys and is drooling ALL OVER the place. She is a champion drooler. Maybe she is getting a tooth soon??? Who knows! All we know for sure is that she is the perfect little peach and we love her so so much! Thanks to all of our family and friends who shared her special day with us!

Hayden's Nursery

I absolutely LOVE the nursery we were able to make for Hayden. None of it would have come together without Mamma Bell though! She sewed the crib skirt, sheets, changing pad covers, blankets, burp rags, and a beautiful quilt for the little girl! My mom is seriously so talented. I can only hope to one day have a quarter of her talents with the sewing machine. Because I was working full time up until a week before Hayden was due, I really was not doing so hot on getting the nursery organized. Luckily Mom came a few days before Hayden arrived, so we spent time putting up picture frames, ordering prints, and everything else. We aren't allowed to paint the walls in our condo, so I decided to go bold colors on her furniture! Later Brad and I put up the gold dots and arranged all of the furniture. I think it turned out so beautiful. Take a look!

Hayden Jayne Jurgensmeier

Ohhh baby. Our baby girl Hayden Jayne was born 12.5.14 at 8:24 pm. 8 lbs. 3 oz. of pure baby beauty. My good friend Meg took her newborn photos and I LOVE THEM! Hayden has certainly turned our lives upside down, but definitely in the best way possibly. We love her SO much, and we can't believe how much she has grown already! Birth story and updates to come. Enjoy her newborn photos!

Harry Potter Shower

A long overdue update, but an update we shall have! A few weeks ago Brad and I had a wonderful vacation spanning Arizona, California, and Utah. We already wish we could go back! One of the definite HIGHLIGHTS of the trip was the amazing Harry Potter-themed baby shower my Jurgensmeier Family threw me! It was a complete surprise and it was so so cute! They put so much time and effort into it, and the details were all amazing. Thank you so much Karen, Karee, Alyssa, and Dawn! You guys are amazing and we had so much fun at the party! Baby girl is so loved!

My invite arrived via owl of course :)

Karee made me some SERIOUSLY cute Harry Potter onesies AND made all the wands for everyone!

Cute owl cupcakes and chocolate frogs!

Broomsticks and "Hufflepuffs" :)

The table looked so cute with fog and floating candles!

Surprise to me as I entered Diagon Alley!

EXTRA surprise and shock because I had no idea Momma Bell would be there, or even that she was in Phoenix. The tricksters!  I definitely burst into happy tears.

We had a great "photo booth" and had fun taking several different Wizard pics!

Playing games and laughing with the fam :)

We scored some sweet presents from our lovely family members! Also, please ignore my sweaty face and overall non-cuteness. I was under the impression that we were just going to the pool that day! :)

Also, Happy (Belated) 21st to Kevin! Thanks family for throwing such a fun party! The Harry Potter theme was seriously THE BEST; you really know me so well. :) I love you all!
More posts about our trip to come!
